At Filling The Gaps, we are a family-centered, support-driven organization committed to nurturing the growth and development of children with special needs. We specialize in inclusive childcare, academic tutoring, life skills coaching, and behavioral support for children and families navigating challenges related to autism, ADHD, ADD, OCD, Down syndrome, and other developmental or behavioral differences.
Instead, our behavioral support model is rooted in Positive Behavior Approaches (PBA)—a compassionate, inclusive, and relationship-based method that prioritizes emotional safety, self-regulation, and collaborative problem-solving.
Our PBA approach focuses on understanding the “why” behind a behavior, not just modifying it. We want to be clear — Filling The Gaps does not provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
We use trauma-informed practices, strength-based strategies, and supportive routines to help children build skills in communication, emotional control, and executive functioning. Our methods are designed to work alongside families and educators to create consistency, reduce stress, and promote independence in ways that feel respectful and empowering to each child.
At Filling The Gaps, we believe that every child deserves a safe and supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive—on their own terms. Our commitment to quality care means listening to families, honoring each child’s individuality, and building programs that meet them where they are.
We also provide staffing for those in need of special ed support, educational, and behavioral support services.
Let us help you bridge the gap between challenges and progress—with care that is intentional, informed, and inclusive.
